LINK3D is multiplatform and runs in Linux, SGI and Windows.
The users can connect and share complex graphics, including interactive 3D molecular graphics like those shown in the pictures below. It is possible to include in the 3D scenario shared manipulators which can be used by users connected in remote places to interact with the shared graphics.
OpenMOIV was used on top of Coin to provide the molecular 3D visualization, and SIM's SoQt as glue with the User Interface built with Qt GUI library. OpenMOIV is an advanced molecular visualisation toolkit based on SGI Molecular Inventor that is built on top of Open Inventor.
