Vispo3D

Vispo3D is an easy-to-use web application that may provide access to a number of 3D models. The client is a Coin3D-based plug-in to Microsoft Internet Explorer. It provides a 3D model browser with an integrated VRML viewer. The server contains pre-processed 3D models prepared for visualization. Such pre-processing includes polygon reduction (LOD generation) and structural optimization.

Vispo3D Inspections

The development of Vispo3D Inspections improves the quality and efficiency of the maintenance inspections offshore – during planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up. With access to documents such as photos and reports of previous inspections the Inspector have the opportunity to immediately compare the findings with the previous results in order to better point out changes and then recommend actions to be taken.

Vispo3D Inspections will also work well as a collaboration tool between users offshore and onshore – for inspection planning and problem solving. It will also ease the shift hand-over for Inspectors offshore.
