The competence of our Coin3D developers are available to clients through a suite of customized training and development services.
Training services
- Workshops were we focus on use cases that are particularly relevant to your situation
- Code reviews with following workshop, focused on critical functionalities, performance and/or design
- On-site coaching. An instructor works with you in your office, on your code base, with on-the-spot advice, review sessions or short workshops based on findings
- Off-site coaching. Developer(s) from your team work in our offices, on your code base, learning from our instructors as they would otherwise learn from an experienced senior colleague
Development services
- Extended support
Under an extended support agreement we will support you on issues that are not really covered by the Professional Edition License, like e.g. debugging problems that are obviously or very likely caused by the application programmer, and not a fault in Coin3D or SIM Voleon.
During such work we log the number of hours and invoice monthly based on actual consumption. There's typically also a pre-defined roof on the number of hours per month that we are allowed to spend, at least before freezing further work, so you can be sure costs don't get out of hand.
- Outsourced development work
This can be for Coin3D additions, i.e. functionality that can later be made a standard component of Coin3D, which we typically offer to do at lower cost -- since it's a win-win situation.
It can also be for more general modules within the application development work.
- Full development projects
We have a fair number of those, since we have a decent sized staff of well qualified developers (many seniors), fluent in all sorts of programming languages, development environments & technologies, operating systems, etc.
