Systems in Motion is providing services in three different ways, in addition to the standard Professional Edition License ("PEL") support:

• We set up a special agreement for "extended support".
  
  The way this works is that we let the client have support on issues that are not really covered by the Professional Edition License, like e.g. debugging problems that are obviously or very likely caused by the application programmer, and not a fault in Coin3D or SIM Voleon.
  
  During such work, we log the number of hours, and send a monthly bill to the client's company. There's typically also a pre-defined roof on the number of hours per month that we are allowed to spend, at least before freezing further work, so the client can be sure costs don't get out of hand and there are nasty surprises.
• A second option is for clients to outsource development work to SIM.
  
  This can be for Coin3D additions, i.e. functionality that can later be made a standard component of Coin3D, which we typically offer to do at lower cost -- since it's a win-win situation.
  
  It can also be for more general modules within the application development work.
  
  
• The third option is to go all the way to outsource full development projects to SIM.
  
  We have a fair number of those, since we have a decent sized staff of well qualified developers (many seniors), fluent in all sorts of programming languages, development environments & technologies, operating systems, etc.
