Coin3D for Windows improved
Today, Systems In Motion officially released updates to two important
libraries in the Coin3D family: Coin v2.2 and SoWin v1.2. For Microsoft
Windows users we have created a common installer for Coin, SoWin and
the simage library. The installer includes binaries, source code,
documentation, examples and Visual C++ projects for all three libraries.
For people new to Coin3D, the documentation includes tutorials and overviews of all libraries. Pre-built examples are also included, all to make it easy to evaluate and get started with Coin3D.
More experienced users might appreciate the fact that the package includes complete source code to all libraries and examples, making it easy to dig into the gory details if necessary. The included VisualC++ project files for the libraries means they can easily be rebuilt if there's something you'd like to tweak yourself. VisualC++ project files are of course also included for the examples, making them a nice starting point for testing the different Coin3D features.
